Date, Affirm, The Real (DAR) is a community of black people who have come together to create a safe space to nurture each other on having healthy relationships and to become better, happier versions of themselves.
Date Affirm was created because we want to help our community achieve the kind of happiness that comes from knowing you are being your best self. We believe that each person has the opportunity to be their best self, and that everyone deserves a chance at finding happiness. We know that when you’re in a relationship with someone who loves and accepts you for who you are, life feels better.
We want to create a space where black people can be their authentic selves, and where they are valued for their unique perspectives. We want to provide support so that they feel safe and comfortable enough to share their stories and experiences, which will help us all understand each other better. We want to help people build relationships that are based on trust and respect.
